We Booked Our Photographer

WE BOOKED OUR PHOTOGRAPHER!!

Yes, it is true! He is actually the photographer teacher that I had my Jr. and Sr. year in high school; Mr. K I had him for two years. I am so thrilled that Mr. K is going to be our photographer, he is such a great man, and he is so funny. He also gave us such a great deal. Mike loved him so much and he loved the prices so much that we booked him right away on the spot. And get this he was looking on his calendar and he said that he is booked the first two Satursdays in June and the last Saturday in June, the only Saturday he had open was June 20, 2009 I was in shock! Mike was like "This has to be a sign, we want to book you now!" So we put our $300.00 deposite down and we are very, very, very happy that this turned out the way it did! His wedding package includes: All day coverage: he's going to meet me at my house around 12:00, take pictures of me getting ready, then we are off to the church for the ceremony at 2:00. After the ceremony is over at 3:15, we are taking pictures for about an hour in Philadelphia at the Art Museum, then off to the reception to take pictures there in their garden at 6:00, then we party from 6-12. So we have him all day (which other places charge you and arm and a leg for that, because most photogrpahers youc an only get them for either 6 hours or 8 hours) We also we an album with our choice of any 100 photos, we also we a couple of other little thigns, and we get our proofs bound in a book. All of that for $3,000. Mike and I don't think that is alot for what he is offering us. And he's NOT charging us for traveling fees, or the extra five hours that we need him, and he's charging us for 2008 prices not 2009. His videography package will cost us $2,000, so we are spending $5,000 for both photo and video all day long! Which I don't think is a bad deal at all!
